GetOnStage.io – Terms of Service

By using the Platform, you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and that you agree to be bound by them.

1. Introduction

  1. These Terms of Service govern your use of GetOnStage.io, operated by Women Tech Speakers Ltd., an Israeli company. Throughout these Terms, "we" and "us" refer to Women Tech Speakers Ltd.
  2. The Platform is a submission and tracking tool that helps tech speakers and DevRel teams discover CFPs, receive notifications, improve proposals, manage speaker groups and their submissions, track deadlines, and manage talk proposals in one place.

2. Definitions

  1. "Platform" means the GetOnStage.io software platform, including website, applications, dashboards, analytics, and related features used to provide the Services.
  2. "Services" means all services provided through the Platform, including CFP discovery and alerts, proposal drafting and improvement tools, submission tracking, deadline reminders, speaker group management, and related workflow analytics.
  3. "User", "you" and "your" means any person or entity that accesses or uses the Platform.
  4. "Organization" means any company, team, community, or other group that uses the Platform through one or more Authorized Users.
  5. "Authorized User" means an individual authorized by an Organization to use the Platform.
  6. "User Content" means any CFP information, talk proposals, speaker profiles, organization profiles, company descriptions, logos, images, submission statuses, drafts, text, files, links, and other content uploaded, submitted, generated, or processed through the Platform.
  7. "Output" means insights, recommendations, status indicators, reminders, analytics, and other results generated by the Platform in connection with CFP workflow and submission tracking.
  8. "Order" means any purchase of a subscription, feature bundle, credits, seats, or another paid component offered through the Platform.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

  1. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it updated.
  2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
  3. If you access the Platform on behalf of an Organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that Organization to these Terms.

4. Service Scope and No Outcome Guarantee

  1. The Platform provides workflow and informational support tools for CFP submission planning and execution.
  2. The Platform does not guarantee any specific outcome, including CFP acceptance, speaking slot confirmation, sponsorship results, conference selection, or business impact.
  3. You remain solely responsible for your submission strategy, proposal quality, deadline management, and all final submission decisions.
  4. Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not submit materials on your behalf.

5. User Content and Responsibilities

  1. You represent and warrant that you own or have all required rights, permissions, and legal bases to upload and process User Content through the Platform.
  2. You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of User Content and submissions.
  3. You agree not to upload content that violates applicable law, confidentiality obligations, intellectual property rights, or third-party rights.
  4. You should not upload sensitive personal data, privileged information, trade secrets, or restricted procurement/confidential materials unless you have explicit legal authority and have applied appropriate safeguards.

6. License to User Content

  1. You retain ownership rights in your User Content.
  2. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, analyze, transmit, and display User Content solely as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Services.
  3. This license ends when your content is deleted from the Platform, subject to backup, legal retention, and security logs.

7. Automated Processing and Platform Outputs

  1. The Services may include optional automated processing features.
  2. Such processing may include analysis of proposal text, conference guidelines, submission status data, historical acceptance patterns, deadline signals, speaker profiles, and other workflow metadata in order to generate recommendations, insights, reminders, and proposal improvement suggestions.
  3. Outputs are informational and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated.
  4. Outputs do not constitute legal, financial, therapeutic, psychological, or other regulated professional advice.

8. Usage Rules

  1. You may not use the Platform for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or misleading activities.
  2. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, or bypass Platform security controls.
  3. You may not use the Platform to build a competing product by extracting substantial portions of content, logic, or workflows without authorization.

8.4 The Platform may collect and display publicly available information regarding conferences, CFP deadlines, and speaking opportunities from publicly accessible sources. Such information is provided for informational purposes only and may not always be complete, accurate, or up to date.

9. Subscription, Billing, and Payment

  1. Subscription terms, pricing, billing cycles, seat limits, and feature limits are set out in the applicable Order or pricing page.
  2. All payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle is responsible for billing, payment processing, and handling refunds in accordance with its policies.
  3. Refunds and cancellations are handled in accordance with Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy, available at: https://www.paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms. Where applicable under consumer protection laws, you may have the right to request a refund within fourteen (14) days of the initial purchase. All refund requests must be submitted directly to Paddle via the support options provided in your purchase receipt or at paddle.net.
  4. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Paddle to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with the applicable billing cycle.
  5. Subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled prior to renewal.
  6. We may suspend or restrict access for non-payment or material breach.

10. Availability and Service Changes

  1. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the Services from time to time.
  2. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  3. We may perform maintenance, impose usage limits, or apply technical controls to protect Platform stability and security.

11. Privacy

  1. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and share information.
  2. By using the Platform, you agree to processing as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Intellectual Property

  1. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform, the Services, and all related content, software, features, designs, and proprietary assets are owned by us or our licensors. Conference information, CFP listings, and related metadata displayed on the Platform may originate from publicly available sources or third parties and remain the property of their respective owners. Conference names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
  2. Except for the limited right to use the Platform in accordance with these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
  3. You may not copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from the Platform except to the extent expressly permitted by law.
  4. If you provide feedback, comments, or suggestions regarding the Platform or Services, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use such feedback for any purpose without compensation.

13. Availability and Changes

  1. The availability and functionality of the Platform depend on various factors, including communication networks and third-party services.
  2. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
  3. We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Platform or any part of it at any time.

14. Disclaimers

  1. The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
  2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
  3. You specifically acknowledge that the platform may contain inaccurate or outdated information resulting from technical or human error. You acknowledge that information regarding third parties' activities is provided by third parties that may not have contractual relations with us and that we have no obligation to verify. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you must check any such information independently.

14.4 The Platform is an independent tool for managing CFP workflows. Conferences, event organizers, and speaking programs referenced on the Platform are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or controlled by the Platform unless explicitly stated.

15. Limitation of Liability

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity.
  2. We are not liable for CFP rejection, missed deadlines, lost speaking opportunities, or conference decision outcomes.
  3. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the amounts paid by you to us in the previous one (1) month preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

16. Indemnification

  1. You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Platform, or your breach of these Terms.

17. Termination

  1. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, unlawful activity, security risk, non-payment or any other reason deemed sufficient by us.
  2. Upon termination, your right to access and use the Platform ceases.

18. General

  1. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform.
  2. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
  3. Any dispute will be brought exclusively before the competent courts in Tel Aviv, Israel.
  4. Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, employment, or agency relationship.
  5. Any cause of action must be brought within one year from accrual, to the extent permitted by law.
  6. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
  2. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue shall be the competent courts in Tel Aviv, Israel, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
